The Heller Foundation’s Kristie Tertel Congratulates GOA: PA
(Washington, D.C.) The Heller Foundation welcomes Hon. Mrs. Suk Smith as the new State Director of Gun Owners of America- Pennsylvania and has issued the following statement:
“Congratulations, Suk Smith, on your new role at Gun Owners of America- Pennsylvania. The Heller Foundation has collaborated with both Mrs. Smith and GOA-PA since our inception on events, lawsuits, press conferences and community service projects throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Suk is a highly respected member of the Second Amendment community and will bring incredible expertise to her new role as Pennsylvania State Director.
Kristie Tertel, The Heller Foundation’s National Director of Legislative Policy adds, “I am absolutely positive that Suk Smith will serve as a thought-leader for her new team and a role model for the employees she will directly oversee at GOA-PA. I anticipate growing our ongoing professional relationship with Suk as she serves in her capacity as the new State Director.”

Suk Smith was on the Advisory Board of ‘Gun Owners/Sportsmen For Trump’ throughout the previous White House administration’s Trump Victory 2020 campaign. Additionally, Suk served as both the Second Amendment Director and Regional Field Director on Dave McCormick’s United States Senate campaign in 2022. Moreover, Mrs. Smith has been a USCCA firearms instructor for many years, specializing in Conceal Carry/Home Defense, Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense. The fearless leader graduated with honors, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management. Suk is also a business owner- co-owning The Dragon’s Way School of Kenpo and owning Patriot Arms, Inc.- loving mother to two beautiful children and dedicated wife.
According to an official press release from Gun Owner’s of America- Pennsylvania’s (now former) State Director, Dr. Val W. Finnell, Suk Smith assumed the role as the new Gun Owners of America- Pennsylvania State Director on January 8, 2023 to replace Dr. Finnell, due to his recent promotion to the national organization as the Gun Owners of America, National Director of State and Local Affairs.
