Walz and Vance, both VP candidates, held rallies yesterday; both have conflicting gun worldview points
Guns and the Second Amendment has been a hot topic, especially after 416 school shootings since Columbine in 1999.
Yesterday the two VP candidates held a rally for their campaign speaking about the most recent school shooting at Apalachee High School.
“We believe in the freedom to send our kids to school without being shot dead in the halls” said Walz the Democratic candidate for vice president during his rally yesterday following the shooting at Apalachee High School shooting.
The 14-year-old- shooter Colt Gray who was a student at Apalachee High School murdered 2 students and 2 teachers with many others being injured.
Walz says, “We have work to do and I am for one sick and tired am tired of hearing about thoughts and prayers”.
Republican Vice President candidate JD Vance also held a rally yesterday and said “If you are the praying type, I know I am gotta hold them up in prayer,” but he continues to say “We have to find a way to make this less common.”.
The Democrats have been infringing on gun rights, the Biden administration even changed the Second Amendment on the White House government website. The Republicans have been fighting to keep gun rights for the citizens, not just for hunting but also for self-defense.
There has to be a way we can not infringe on our gun rights as well as keep America safe from mass shootings, What would you do if you were in an elected office position?
