Residents asking to sign petition to keep Lanta bus in the Lehigh Valley mall property

Lehigh County  – Lanta bus has announced they will no longer have a stop on the Lehigh Valley mall premises at the request of the mall owners starting in June 2025.

Many shoppers and employees rely on public transportation to get around which means they will either:

1. Have to walk from a public street
2. Stop shopping at the mall
3. Seek employment away from the mall

Many of the bus travelers are not happy and seeking answers from the Mall management. One person says “What exactly are you trying to achieve by removing public transportation? Where’s the community partnership? Very disappointing and I hope you will reconsider.”

Two people have made a petition to keep the Lanta bus stop at the location in the mall property and asking for the residents to sign it.
