Allentown Pa police arrested on rape and prostitution charges
- Allentown, PA – On January 10. 2025, the Allentown Police Department was notified that the charges of Involuntary Sexual Servitude and Rape, which are both felony charges, as well as the misdemeanor charge of Indecent Assault and Official Oppression of Evidence, and other related charges have been filed against former Allentown Police Officer Jason Krasley and Sergeant Evan Weaver.
- Sergeant Weaver has also been charged with Sexual Assault, and former Officer Krasley has been charged with Kidnapping, Involuntary Sexual Intercourse, and Intimidation of a Witness, all the felonies of the first are degree and Criminal Coercion, which is a misdemeanor charge.
- The Allentown Police Department takes all complaints either internal or external seriously and conducts full and thorough investigations related to the same. The Allentown Police Department has been and will continue to cooperate with the Lehigh County District Attorney as well as any other investigative agency.
- Sergeant Weaver is being placed on Administrative leave and an internal investigation is being updated.
