manhunt in Allentown NJ ends in arrest
Allentown, NJ – An Allentown, NJ, resident, was shot in the head yesterday by her son’s father. The shooting created a lockdown throughout town while a manhunt was underway.
The Monmouth County Prosecutors Office says the shooting happened around 1 p.m. near Johnson Drive.
Thankfully, Nikki only received a graze wound and is expected to make a full recovery. Their 6-year-old boy witnessed the shooting.
After a few hours of manhunting, the suspect was found. The suspect, 52-year-old Daniel Williams, is currently lodged in Monmouth County Jail.
Daniel Williams, 52, was charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and second-degree weapons offenses, officials said. A child was present at the scene of the shooting, authorities said
