U.S. Marshals Capture Mississippi Murder Suspect in Memphis
Memphis, TN – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Offices in Mississippi and Tennessee coordinated to capture a murder fugitive, Tony Lott,18, in Memphis.
On October 25, 2024, Jerrian King was shot to death in the 1300 block of N. St. Mary’s Circle in Greenville, Mississippi. Five days later, a murder warrant was issued out of Washington County, MS for the arrest of Tony Lott. The fugitive case was adopted by the USMS Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Mississippi, who developed information that Lott was in the Memphis area. The investigation was turned over to the USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Memphis for further investigation.
On December 5, 2024, the Two Rivers Task Force and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Team went to an apartment in the 3000 block of E. Point Cove in Memphis to locate Lott. He was found there and taken into custody without incident. Lott is currently being held at the Shelby County Detention Center as he awaits extradition to Mississippi.
