Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy admitted to dumping a dead bear cub
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy recently opened up about a bizarre incident he was involved in nearly ten years ago. He dumped a dead female bear cub in Central Park after deciding against skinning it and eating it.
He explained that the day started early as he was out falconing. While driving, he witnessed a woman hit the bear cub with her vehicle.
“So, I pulled over and I picked up the bear and put him in the back of my van because I was going to skin the bear,” Kennedy stated. He noted that the bear was six months old and in “very good condition.” Interestingly, under New York state law, getting a bear tag for roadkill is permitted.
The story had died down until the New Yorker recently contacted Kennedy asking him to verify whether it was true.
While that story has yet to be published, Kennedy said, “It’s going to be a bad story.”
