cops stops driver dragging an electrical wire

Buckhannon, WV – In the late morning hours on Wednesday, the Shur Communications Center notified the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office regarding an impaired driver operating a white pickup truck.

The vehicle was reportedly in ditches and dragging an electrical wire. Deputies located the pickup truck on Kanawha Street in Buckhannon, WV, and stopped the vehicle, arresting the driver, Glen Sines, 59, of Buckhannon, WV, for his second offense of DUI

The defendant was emitting a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Due to the impairment, deputies assisted the defendant in getting to and from their vehicles. The defendant was transported to Tygart Valley Regional Jail, where he awaited arraignment.
