Netflix announced Cobra Kai season 3 release

May 2, 2018 YouTube premium released its first season of cobra kai based on the first 3 karate kid movies bringing in Johnny Lawrence as the main focus of the series.

It became a hit and a second season was released the following year bringing in John Kreese Johnny’s Sensei from the first Karate kid movie which built up to an unexpected cliffhanger for season 3.

Season 3 is announced to be released on January 8, 2021, with many wondering if Ali with an I will be in season 3 and if she is what her role will be. Other theories also include Daniel going to Okinawa after the events of the final episode from season 2 which is theorized Kumiko from The karate kid 2.

If you are a big fan of the series they also said season 4 is in the works which should be exciting.
